Serenity found in Batam Indonesia

Hey everyone! It's been a long while and since the holidays are here, it's time to update this dead blog. I will be sharing our Montigo and Turi Beach Resort stay at Batam last year. (yes, that is how long we haven't been blogging and we apologize to those who have been waiting patiently for our post!) I've picked the Batam trip to share because 1) It's an overseas trip. 2) It was one of the more interesting and memorable events that occurred in the past few months. I shall try my best to recall as much details as I can because this is a really late post which was supposed to be up half a year ago. But it is always better late than never.

So, it was a 3D2N stay. We had our first night at Turi Beach Resort!

The room was decent and certainly went beyond our expectations with the beautiful view from the balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay here even though it was only for one night.

Some yummy snacks we got to last us (foodies) throughout the trip!

Next day, we made our way from Turi Beach Resort to Montigo Nongsa Resorts. The journey was a rather bearable one as both resorts were quite closely situated to one another. After our brief ride, we were greeted with welcome drinks and entered the villa. And there it was. A 3- storey high villa with a private pool, open living room, roof top, kitchen, 4 toilets and 2 bedrooms. You know that sensation when you expect something good but turned out to be something better than great. Yes, we were overwhelmed. Honestly, the villa was a little too huge for just the two of us haha.

Some pictures to highlight the features and interior of our awesome villa:

Overall, the stay at Montigo Resort had been nothing short of an amazing one. Despite it being more on the pricey side compared to the other resorts in Batam, it was worth every cent.
Really glad we decided and settled for Montigo Resort and it is definitely a place we would recommend to everyone who is currently planning a trip to Batam.

As there were too many pictures to share,  I've decided to make a video to compile everything instead. AND IT IS FINALLY HERE.  It took me a few hours so I hope it was worth the time and effort.

That's all I have. Hope you enjoyed the post and the video! We're currently planning a short trip to Bangkok, Thailand, so stay tuned for our BKK post which will be up real soon.  Till next time!
